IIM Udaipur manages its own admissions and, from the 2026-28 batch, no longer takes part in the IIM Common Admission Process. For the two-year MBA, candidates first appear in CAT and, if they meet the category-wise overall and sectional percentile cut-offs, receive an email to complete a mandatory online registration. Shortlisting for the Personal Interview is then based on the CAT score and profile, which includes Class 10, Class 12, graduation, work experience and gender diversity. Personal Interviews are held in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and at the IIM Udaipur campus, and candidates give at least three location preferences. The final merit list carries 55 percent weightage for the normalised CAT score, 25 percent for the Personal Interview and 20 percent for the profile.
