The sector split for the MBA in 2025-26 was led by BFSI and fintech at about 32 percent, followed by manufacturing at about 18 percent, IT and ITES at about 15 percent, FMCG at about 8 percent, e-commerce and technology and automobile at about 5 percent each, and consulting and professional services at about 5 percent. This shows a balanced mix rather than dependence on a single industry.
Recruiters associated with the institute include Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Larsen and Toubro, HSBC, Wells Fargo, Tata Capital, Tata Steel, Maruti Suzuki, Asian Paints, Titan, Axis Bank, Amazon, Microsoft and Samsung. Roles range from consulting and finance analyst positions to sales, operations, product and analytics roles.
The eight-week summer internship is an important gateway to pre-placement offers. In 2024-25 the MBA programme saw an average internship stipend of about Rs. 1.31 lakh for the two months, with the highest at Rs. 3 lakh, while MBA-HR recorded a highest stipend of Rs. 3.6 lakh. The Corporate Relations team runs talk series such as Viimrsh, Colloquium, Causerie Chats, Mind Meld, Samagam and Alum-Innate to connect students with industry leaders.
The institute notes that students who finish the first year below a CGPA of 5 may not be considered for certain placement processes, so academic performance matters. Applicants comparing colleges should look at the median and at several years of data rather than at the single highest offer. The Rs. 19.20 lakh programme fee, and about Rs. 20.90 lakh with mess, should be weighed against these outcomes.
