Rankings, Accreditations and Approvals of IIM Jammu

NIRF Ranking

In the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), IIM Jammu was ranked 35th in the Management category in 2025, up from 42nd in 2024. The improvement of seven places in a single year reflects progress in the parameters used by the framework, which include teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and perception.

International Accreditations

The MBA programme of IIM Jammu holds accreditation recognitions from EFMD and the Business Graduates Association (BGA). International accreditations assess a business school on factors such as programme quality, faculty strength, learner outcomes and engagement with industry. Such recognition adds credibility for students who plan to work or study abroad and for employers who evaluate the quality of the programme.

Global Partnerships

The institute has signed memoranda of understanding with international partner institutions including Alba Graduate Business School, CENTRUM PUCP Business School, Deakin University and Duale Hochschule Baden-Wuerttemberg Loerrach, among others. These partnerships support academic exchange, joint research and exposure to global practices in management education.

Joint Programmes and Approvals

IIM Jammu offers the MBA (Hospital Administration and Health Care Management) jointly with AIIMS Jammu and IIT Jammu, and the Dual Degree B.Tech + MBA jointly with IIT Jammu. Its Integrated Program in Management admissions are conducted jointly with IIM Bodh Gaya through the Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT), administered by the National Testing Agency. The online eBBA (Hons.) has been launched in partnership with Accenture's Centre of Advanced Studies (ACOAS).
