LIET's campus in Knowledge Park II is designed around the principle that a good learning environment is one where students want to spend time. The campus has smart classrooms with modern audio-visual equipment, well-equipped engineering and computing laboratories, a comprehensive library, a cafeteria, sports infrastructure, and an auditorium - the standard infrastructure of a functioning engineering college, maintained to the standard one would expect from a college founded by IIT alumni who understand what good infrastructure looks like and why it matters. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled throughout.

Campus Infrastructure at LIET Greater Noida

The Coders' Club: Building a Technical Community

One facility that student reviews specifically call out as a valued part of campus life is LIET's Coders' Club - a dedicated space and community for students who want to engage in programming beyond the formal curriculum. The Coders' Club runs coding contests, hackathons, peer learning sessions, and open-source project initiatives throughout the academic year. For CSE and IT students in particular, this kind of informal technical community is often where the most valuable skill development happens - not in scheduled lab sessions with fixed assignments, but in self-directed, competitive, peer-driven environments where the motivation is intrinsic rather than grade-driven.

Laboratories and Technical Infrastructure

LIET maintains department-specific laboratories across all five engineering branches. Computing labs for CSE and BCA/MCA programmes are equipped with modern systems and licensed software. Electronics labs have the standard complement of oscilloscopes, signal generators, and communication testing equipment for ECE programmes. Mechanical Engineering has a well-equipped workshop and CAD/CAM facilities. The laboratory infrastructure is supplemented by the laptop-for-all provision - every B.Tech, BCA, and MCA student receives a laptop at enrollment, ensuring that personal computing is not a barrier to practical learning for students from families that cannot afford their own device.

Library and Learning Resources

LIET's library provides engineering, technology, and management reference materials across physical and digital formats. The collection supports the full range of AKTU curriculum subjects across all B.Tech branches, with additional reference materials for competitive exam preparation (GATE, CAT), professional certifications (AWS, Cisco, Oracle), and research-oriented project work in the final year. The library serves as the campus's primary quiet study environment, used extensively by students preparing for semester examinations and placement competitive rounds.

Hostel Facilities

LIET provides separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls with a combined capacity of 1,000 students. Rooms are available in both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned configurations, catering to different budget requirements. The hostel includes a mess facility that students consistently describe as providing 'homely food' - an important daily quality-of-life factor for students living away from home for the first time. Wi-Fi is available in hostel buildings, a water purifier provides clean drinking water, and a water cooler addresses hydration during Greater Noida's intense summer months. Security is maintained 24×7 across hostel premises.

Sports and Recreation

LIET's sports infrastructure covers both indoor and outdoor facilities appropriate for a campus of its size. A playground supports outdoor sports including cricket and football, and indoor game facilities provide options for students who prefer indoor recreation. The college's annual cultural and technical fests - typically organised in the late academic year - provide structured social and competitive programming that creates a campus life beyond the classroom. The auditorium is used for placement drives, seminars, college events, and cultural performances throughout the year.
