Students of IMS DAVV can reduce the cost of their MBA through scholarship schemes of the Government of Madhya Pradesh and the Government of India. The schemes are not run by the institute alone, and the eligibility, income limits and amounts are decided by the government every year, so students should check the latest rules on the official scholarship portals before they depend on any benefit. The institute has a scholarship page and an office that helps students with forms.

Scholarships and Financial Aid at IMS DAVV, Indore
Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana (MMVY)
MMVY is meant for meritorious students who are domiciled in Madhya Pradesh. Eligible students receive a waiver of the tuition fee and the admission fee, and they apply on the Madhya Pradesh scholarship portal after taking admission. The eligibility is linked with the marks scored in the Class 12 board examination, with a higher percentage required for students of the CBSE and ICSE boards than for those of the state board.
MP Post-Matric Scholarship
Students of the SC, ST and OBC categories who are domiciled in Madhya Pradesh and whose family income is below the limit notified by the state, which has been Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum, can apply for the post-matric scholarship. The scheme covers tuition and other fees as per the government rules, and applications are made online every year with income and caste certificates.
Central Sector Scheme
The Central Sector Scheme of scholarships supports students who are in the top 20 percentile of their Class 12 board and whose family income is below the limit set by the Government of India, which has been Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum. The amount is in the range of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 per year and is paid through the National Scholarship Portal.
Other support includes education loans from banks, for which the institute can provide fee letters, and One Time Registration for SC and ST students on the state portal. A student can normally benefit from only one similar scheme at a time, so choose the one that gives the greatest benefit. Keep the income certificate, caste certificate, domicile certificate and mark sheets ready. Use the fee structure page to work out the cost after the concession.
