Hita Ayurveda Hospital is a 60-bedded Ayurvedic teaching hospital, with 30 male general ward beds and 30 female general ward beds, plus 4 VIP rooms. The Principal and Chief Medical Superintendent of Hita Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre is Dr. Lakshmi Bapu Hulkund, who holds an MD (Ayurveda) and has 16 years of experience. She joined the institution on 28 December 2023.
Admission is entirely NEET-based. Candidates must qualify NEET (UG) and then register for AACCC counselling (All India Quota, 9 seats) or KEA AYUSH counselling at kea.kar.nic.in (State/Management/NRI Quota, 51 seats). Minimum eligibility is 10+2 PCB with 50% marks (40% for reserved categories) and a valid NEET score. No direct or off-counselling admission is permitted under NCISM regulations.
