Admission Process at GD Goenka University

For B.Tech programmes, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a technical vocational subject, securing at least 50% aggregate marks, and are shortlisted using either a valid JEE Main score or the university's own Goenka Aptitude Test for Admission (GATA), a computer-based test of 75 multiple-choice questions covering analytical and logical reasoning, English usage, and quantitative aptitude, with no negative marking. MBA admissions are based on CAT, MAT, or CMAT scores (or the GDGU entrance test), while the School of Law admits through CLAT or the GDGU Law Entrance, and the School of Hospitality & Tourism uses its own GDGU Hospitality Entrance Test. Every applicant, regardless of programme, must also clear a personal interview round after the score-based shortlisting stage.
