What is the DU LLB program and who is it for?

Delhi University offers two integrated 5-year law programs at its Faculty of Law - B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) at the North Campus and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) at the South Campus. These are among the most sought-after undergraduate law programs in India, ideal for students who want a combined degree blending Arts/Business with Law without needing a prior undergraduate degree.

How are DU LLB seats allotted? Is it based on CLAT?

Yes, since 2022, DU LLB (both B.A. LL.B. and B.B.A. LL.B.) admissions are conducted through CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) UG scores. The Faculty of Law participates in the CLAT Consortium's centralized counselling. Candidates must appear in CLAT UG and then apply through the DU LLB preference during CLAT counselling.

What is a good CLAT score for DU LLB admission?

Based on 2025 Round 1 data: UR category requires 91.25+, EWS requires 84.75+, OBC requires 82+, PwBD requires 77.25+, SC requires 69.75+, and ST requires 59+. What is the difference between B.A. LL.B. and B.B.A. LL.B. at DU?

(Hons.) at South Campus combines business administration and management with law, making it ideal for students interested in corporate law, business disputes, and commercial legal practice. How does this DU LLB predictor work?

The predictor compares your score against DU's official CLAT cutoffs and estimates your admission chance as Excellent, Safe, Moderate, Tough, or Unlikely. Excellent = your score is 5+ above cutoff. Safe = at or above cutoff. Moderate = within 3 marks below cutoff (possible in later rounds). Tough = 3–7 marks below. Unlikely = 7+ marks below.

What is the CW (Central Government Ward) category in DU LLB?

CW refers to wards (children/dependants) of Central Government employees. For B.A. LL.B., CW candidates up to Priority IV are directly allotted seats without score requirements during CLAT counselling. For B.B.A. LL.B., CW candidates up to Priority V are directly allotted. Priority levels are defined by the CLAT Consortium and depend on the nature of the government employee's posting.
