According to the notice carrying reference number ME-3/2026, the first round of UP NEET PG counselling will be conducted entirely online. It covers state quota seats in MD, MS, Diploma and DNB courses offered by government and private medical colleges, institutes and universities in Uttar Pradesh.
The notice has been marked to the Principal Secretary, Medical Education, and to institutions including KGMU Lucknow, UPUMS Saifai and Dr RMLIMS Lucknow, with a request to display it on notice boards.

Registration and fee payment
Candidates who have qualified NEET PG 2026 will have to register online on the UP NEET portal and pay the registration fee and security fee within the window. One detail worth noticing is that the notice sets different closing times for the two steps: registration ends at 11:00 AM on 26 October, while fee deposit stays open until 2:00 PM the same day. Candidates should complete both steps early instead of relying on the extra hours.
