Eligibility Criteria
MBBS from NMC-recognized institution; 1 year mandatory internship completed by March 31; minimum 50th percentile (40th for SC/ST/OBC); NMC/State Medical Council registration
Admission Process
50% seats via KEA State/All India Quota counselling; 50% via KEA Management Quota counselling. Non-Karnataka candidates eligible for Management/OPN quota only. PG stipend: ₹35,000–₹45,000/month depending on year of study.

NEET PG 2024 closing rank for MD General Medicine (last round): 4,336. PG rural service bond conditions apply per Karnataka state norms.

MD/MS Degree from NMC-recognized institution in the required specialization; NEET SS qualified (conducted by NBE, New Delhi)
Admission Process
DM/MCh Super-Specialty admissions via NEET SS score. 25 seats across multiple super-specialty departments.

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with PCB and English; minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC); minimum age 17 years as of December 31; NEET UG qualified; Karnataka domicile (7+ years, Class 1–12) mandatory for State Quota
Admission Process
Step 1: Qualify NEET UG (Karnataka students 490+ marks; non-Karnataka students 550+ marks recommended for Management Quota). Step 2: Register on KEA portal (cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea). Registration fee: ₹750 (Karnataka General/OBC/Cat-2A/2B/3A/3B); ₹500 (Karnataka SC/ST/Cat-1/PwD); ₹2,500 (non-Karnataka candidates); ₹5,000 (NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals). Step 3: Document verification in-person (Karnataka domicile) or online (non-Karnataka). Step 4: Pay caution deposit ₹1,00,000 from Round 2 onwards. Step 5: Fill and lock college choices. Step 6: Seat allotment result published; report to VIMS campus with original documents and pay admission fees.

Important Notice

Required documents: NEET UG Score Card and Admit Card, 10th and 12th Marks Cards and Pass Certificates, Transfer Certificate, Migration Certificate, Domicile Certificate (if applicable), Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable), PAN Card (student/parent photocopy), Aadhaar Card, KEA Allotment Letter, minimum 5 passport photographs. Compulsory rural service bond required post-MBBS completion; skipping service requires payment of penalty bond before medical council registration or PG admission. For NRI quota: Passport, Work Permit, NRI School Certificate, RBI Inward Remittance Certificate, RGUHS Eligibility Certificate additionally required.
