United Institute of Medical Sciences (UIMS), Prayagraj, holds the distinction of being the first private medical college in Prayagraj (Allahabad), Uttar Pradesh. Established in 2020 by the United Group — a prominent educational and healthcare conglomerate with roots dating back to 2015 in the medical diagnostics space — the college is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and affiliated with Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University, Prayagraj. The college is spread over a lush green 20-acre campus in Rawatpur, approximately 40 minutes from Prayagraj (Bamrauli) Airport, with seamless connectivity to the city centre. UIMS is built on four core pillars — Knowledge, Wisdom, Excellence & Service — with the mission of transforming aspiring medical students into world-class doctors through disciplined education and practice. The Group entered the healthcare infrastructure segment in 2019 by establishing United Medicity — a 1000-bed multi-specialty hospital in Prayagraj — which serves as the primary teaching hospital for MBBS students. In 2015, the United Group had also established United Diagnostics, one of North India's premium diagnostic centres offering MRI, CT Scan, Pathology, Ultrasound, and X-Ray services. The college offers 150 MBBS seats annually and a small intake of MD postgraduate seats. Its urban health training centres at Naini (population: 32,468) and Bamrauli (population: 33,366) provide robust community medicine field training.

The campus integrates the medical college building, teaching hospital, hostel blocks, and academic support facilities in a modern, cohesive layout. The United Group's sister facility, United Diagnostics (MRI, CT Scan, Pathology, Ultrasound, X-Ray), is also part of the ecosystem.
Classrooms & Lecture Theatres
Smart classrooms with ICT-enabled teaching aids, audio-visual projectors, and electronic boards. All lecture halls are designed for the NMC-mandated Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) framework. Demonstration halls and examination halls support practical and assessment-based learning across departments.
Central Library
A well-equipped central library with a curated collection of standard MBBS and PG medical textbooks, national and international journals, digital e-resources, and a comfortable reading room with Wi-Fi access. The library caters to all years of MBBS students and PG residents.
Laboratory
Each department has its own fully-equipped laboratory meeting NMC standards. Physiology has 3 labs — Human, Haematology, and Mammalian/Amphibian — as per NMC guidelines. The Anatomy department has ultramodern histology, cadaveric dissection, museum specimen preparation, and model preparation facilities. The Biochemistry department manages the Clinical Biochemistry Lab in the hospital, where a range of biochemical tests are routinely performed for inpatients. United Diagnostics (a sister facility) provides premium MRI, CT Scan, Pathology, Ultrasound, and X-Ray services.

Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are available on campus. Annual hostel fee is ₹1,50,000 and mess fee is ₹1,75,000.
