Civil Engineering has the smallest B.Tech intake with 30 seats. Core branches such as Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical and Civil Engineering continue to attract students who prefer a low-cost government degree.

Postgraduate candidates need a BE/B.Tech degree in the relevant branch, and the M.E. in Industrial Engineering and Management is open to graduates of any engineering branch. Hostel rent is about Rs. 3,000 per semester and mess charges are about Rs. 1,500 per month.

To estimate your total cost, add hostel and mess charges to the tuition figures above and check the scholarship page for the Tuition Fee Waiver scheme and other aid. You can also read about placements to judge the return on investment of each branch.
