SAMCH is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru. The BAMS degree is awarded by RGUHS, one of India's most reputed health sciences universities.

SAMCH has held continuous NCISM annual permission letters since AY 2017-18, with the most recent being for AY 2025-26. All permission letters are publicly published on the official college website under the NCISM Mandatory Disclosure section.
