About RKDF University, Bhopal
RKDF University, Bhopal (Ram Krishna Dharmarth Foundation University) is a private state university located at Airport By Pass Road, Gandhi Nagar, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It was established by Ayushmati Education and Social Society through an Act of the Government of Madhya Pradesh published in the State Gazette on 19 July 2011, and its first academic session began in 2012-13. Spread over 107 acres near the Bhopal airport, the campus has a built-up area of about 13.18 lakh sq. ft. and around 6.31 lakh sq. ft. of landscaped garden. According to the University's official profile, RKDF has more than 15,000 students, 16 faculties, 99 courses, one central library plus 19 institute libraries and over 2.02 lakh books. The University also runs value-added certificate courses and a compulsory four-credit course on Value, Spirituality and Consciousness Development for undergraduate students in collaboration with the Brahma Kumaris Education Wing, Mount Abu.
