PIBM's own website cites placements in the Times B-School Survey 2026 (30th among Top B-Schools in India, 20th among Top Private B-Schools, 12th in the West Zone) and historical recognitions from Business Today, the Economic Times ('Best Education Brands of 2018') and Forbes' Great Indian B-Schools feature. PIBM's homepage also states a '#1 in Pune' position under NIRF 2025 for PGDM & MBA affiliated to SPPU; however, this claim could not be independently verified on nirfindia.org, and at least one third-party aggregator states PIBM has not appeared in NIRF as of 2025 - so this specific ranking claim should be treated with caution and verified directly against the official NIRF publication before being repeated as fact.

30th in Top B-Schools in India; 20th in Top Private B-Schools; 12th in the West Zone

Times B-School Survey 2026 (per PIBM's own current homepage)

33rd in Top Private B-Schools; 44th in Top 100 B-Schools - note this differs from PIBM's own 2026 homepage figures above, and both should be cross-checked against the original Times B-School Survey publication.

Times B-School Survey 2025 (as reported by third-party portal Shiksha)

PIBM's homepage states it was 'Ranked #1 in PGDM & MBA (Affiliated to SPPU) in Pune by NIRF 2025.' This claim could not be independently verified against nirfindia.org, and at least one third-party aggregator (Collegedunia) states PIBM 'has not appeared in NIRF... as of 2025.' This is a material discrepancy - the institute's NIRF status should be verified directly on nirfindia.org before being published as fact.
