Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Karimnagar, established in 2001 by the Prathima Educational Society, is one of the leading private medical institutions in Telangana. Located at Nagunoor Village, Karimnagar — 6.3 km from Karimnagar Railway Station, 280 m from Nagunur Bus Stop, and 200 km from RGIA Hyderabad — on a 35-acre campus on State Highway 7 and 172 km from Hyderabad. Affiliated with KNRUHS and recognised by NMC, PIMS offers 200 MBBS seats and 139 PG seats across 19 departments. The campus features smart classrooms, demo halls, a central library (e-resources), separate hostels for 75% students, and a 1,000-seat auditorium. Prathima Hospitals is a multi-specialty tertiary care facility with planned expansion to 1,500 beds. The hospital has Centres of Excellence in cardiology, neonatology, gastroenterology, orthopaedics and critical care; advanced emergency care (with plans for helicopter ambulance); and modern diagnostic labs. During NEET 2021–2024, 29 PG candidates received allotment.
