Malabar Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (MMC) was established in 2010 and holds the distinction of being the first private medical college in Kerala to begin with 150 MBBS seats from its first year.

MMC offers 48 MD/MS seats across 12 specialties including General Medicine, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, OBG, Anaesthesiology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, and more. DNB programs in General Medicine and General Surgery have been offered since 2013.

MMC Kozhikode has 200 MBBS seats since AY 2022-23, having expanded from the original 150 seats. All seats are filled through Kerala State NEET UG counselling conducted by CEE Kerala.

MMC is managed by Sree Anjaneya Medical Trust, with Mr. Anil Kumar V as Chairman. The college is known for its strong faculty composition, primarily comprising retired or VRS-taken doctors from Government Medical College, Kozhikode.
