Eligibility Criteria
10+2 (PCB + English); minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/Cat-1/2A/2B/3A/3B); minimum age 17 years; valid NEET UG score
Admission Process
All MBBS/MD/MS seat allotments at RMC are by merit counselling conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) based on NEET UG/PG rank — NO DIRECT ADMISSIONS. DM/MCh seat allotment by MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) based on NEET SS rank. KEA conducts 4 MBBS rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, Stray Vacancy. Seat allotment for Government quota, Management quota (KEA-supervised private seats), and NRI quota (15% of total seats) — all through KEA. From AY 2022-23, RMC is a Constituent College of RUAS (not RGUHS) but continues with KEA counselling. Non-Karnataka candidates are eligible for Management and NRI quota seats. PG (MD/MS): KEA conducts counselling for State Quota and Management Quota seats. SS (DM/MCh): MCC conducts counselling.
