Location and Campus

The college is located in Deendayal Nagar, Chikhli, Buldana district, Maharashtra a region that the institution specifically aims to serve with quality Ayurvedic education. The campus houses 14 academic and clinical departments, a 60-bed attached hospital, a 2,500 sq. ft. herbal garden with 885 medicinal plants, departmental laboratories, a central library with a dedicated website, a Yoga Hall, a Diet Kitchen, a Rasashastra teaching pharmacy, and separate hostel facilities for boys and girls.

Recognition, ISO Certifications, and NAAC

SRC Ayurved College is recognised by NCISM and affiliated to MUHS, Nashik, meeting national regulatory standards for Ayurvedic education. Beyond these baseline approvals, the college has obtained four ISO certifications ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), ISO 21001:2018 (Educational Organisations), and ISO 50001:2018 (Energy Management) reflecting institution wide quality systems. BAMS Programme and Departments

The college offers a single undergraduate programme BAMS with an intake of 60 students per year. The 5.5-year programme follows the NCISM Competency-Based Dynamic Curriculum (CBDC) introduced from 2021-22, spanning 14 departments: Sanskrit Samhita Siddhant, Rachana Sharir, Kriya Sharir, Dravyaguna, Rasashastra & BK, Roga Nidan, Swasthavritta & Yoga, Agad Tantra, Prasuti Tantra & Stri Roga, Kaumarbhritya, Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Shalya Tantra, and Shalakya Tantra. Faculty

The Principal, Dr. Anant G. Patil (MD Kayachikitsa), leads a faculty team of over 30 teachers sourced from the official department pages, all holding BAMS with MD or MS qualifications. Notable faculty include Dr. Pravin S. Tiwari (HOD Kayachikitsa, 26+ years experience), Dr. N. N. Wagh (HOD Panchakarma, MD), Dr. Mukund G. Gijare (HOD Rasashastra & BK, PhD scholar), Vd. Hospital and Clinical Training

The attached hospital runs with 60+ active beds and OPD services daily from 9 AM–4 PM across all clinical departments, supported by 24-hour emergency care. Monthly records for 2025 show approximately 4,000 OPD patients and 175 IPD admissions per month, with an average 67% bed occupancy figures published transparently on the official website as per NCISM mandatory disclosure norms. Campus Life and Community Outreach

Campus life at SRC includes the Annual Sports Gathering, Gurupornima celebration, BAMS Orientation Programme, NSS Blood Donation Camps, Herpetology Workshop (Agad Tantra), Anorectal and Female Health Camps, and General Diagnostic Camps in villages like Undri and Rohada.
