Per NIRF 2025 data reported by a third-party education portal, KL University (KLEF) placed 35th in Engineering, 70th in Management (up from 79th in NIRF 2024), 46th in an Overall/University category (up from 40th in NIRF 2024), and in the Band 11-50 for Innovation. Historically, KLEF's own IQAC page cites a 27th NIRF University-category rank in 2022, and the university has held NAAC 'A' (2012/2013) and 'A++' (2018) grades. IMPORTANT: as detailed in the Approvals section, a February 2025 CBI bribery case led NAAC to debar KLEF from re-applying for accreditation for five years, so the currently active NAAC status should be verified directly against naac.gov.in rather than relied upon from the historical 'A++' badge alone.
