KVTR Ayurved College was established in 1972 by the visionary Late Karamvir Vyanketrao Tanaji Randhir, making it over 50 years old — and the first Ayurvedic college in both Dhule and Jalgaon districts. It was founded specifically to serve the rural and aboriginal communities of the Satpuda mountain ranges at a time when there were no roads or transport to Boradi.

Boradi is situated in the Satpuda mountain ranges of North Maharashtra, near the Tapi river, approximately 60–65 km from Dhule city.
