Central Research Laboratory
Active Central Research Laboratory supporting UG, PG, and faculty research. Research collaborations with University of Toronto (Canada), Wake Forest University (USA), National University of Singapore, St. John's Research Institute (India), BARC Research Centre of Mangalore University. International research funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST). Department of Community Medicine jointly organizes guest lectures and CMEs on cutting-edge medical topics.
Hostels (Boys and Girls)
Separate fully-equipped hostels for boys and girls on the 52-acre campus. Hostel fee: ₹50,000–₹1,60,000/year (based on room occupancy type). One-time refundable hostel deposit: ₹20,000–₹60,000. Rooms offer scenic views in serene atmosphere with security surveillance. Home-like experience for students from different parts of India and abroad. 24×7 water and electricity, mess/canteen, medical facility, laundry, and recreation room.

Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital (1,000+ beds, NABH accredited)
A 1,000+ bedded NABH-accredited multi-specialty teaching hospital with 12 broad specialties and 15 super specialties. Serves as a major referral centre for coastal Karnataka, treating patients from Mangaluru, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Kerala border districts. Clinical facilities: General Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, OBG (including IVF centre), Orthopaedics, ENT, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Anaesthesiology, Radiodiagnosis, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, Community Medicine, Emergency Medicine. Super-specialty services: Urology (MCh programme), Neurology, Neurosurgery, Cardiology (Cath Lab), Nephrology, Neonatology, Gastroenterology.
