10+2 (PCB + English) with minimum 50% marks (40% for reserved categories); minimum age 17 years; valid NEET UG scorecard

As a Deemed University constituent college, JNMC MBBS admissions are through MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) — 100% Deemed University AIQ counselling — open to all India candidates. KEA Karnataka state quota counselling also applicable for a portion of seats. MCC conducts 4–5 rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 (Mop-Up), Stray Vacancy, and Special Stray Vacancy. Candidates register on mcc.nic.in, fill college preferences, and seats are allotted by merit. During NEET 2021–2024, 32 candidates received seat allotment at JNMC Belgaum.
