Admission to the PGDM requires a bachelor's degree (any discipline) with at least 50% aggregate marks, entered through CAT, XAT, or CMAT scores for Indian candidates and GMAT scores for foreign nationals; final-year graduation students may also apply. Candidates apply online at admission.imi.edu/kolkata with a non-refundable processing fee, after which shortlisted applicants are called for an Individual Assessment (Personal Interview) round, with the final offer based on a composite of entrance score, academic record and interview performance. Admission to the FPM is a two-step process: an online application with a research proposal/abstract of up to 5,000 words, followed by a presentation and personal interview for shortlisted candidates.
