B.Tech admissions are primarily through UPTAC (UP Technical Admission Counselling) based on JEE Main scores. 85% of B.Tech seats are filled via UPTAC; 15% are available via management/direct quota for students with minimum 50% in PCM (70%+ preferred for direct admission without JEE). B.Tech Lateral Entry (for diploma holders with 45%+) is through JEECUP counselling. Registration fee: ₹1,500. Contact: 1800-3000-8301 (toll-free).

IEC offers: (1) ₹25,000 off for students with 90%+ in PCM at admission; (2) Semester scholarships: 70%+ = ₹10K off, 80%+ = ₹20K off, 90%+ = 50% tuition fee waiver (UP domicile students); (3) UP Government post-matric scholarship for SC/ST/OBC students; (4) UPSEE/UPTAC fee waiver for eligible counselling-admitted students; (5) Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships (CSSS) — up to ₹20,000/year for top 20 percentile Class 12 scorers.

IEC offers B.Tech in 8 specialisations: CSE (₹4.58L total), CSE AI & ML (₹4.58L), IT (₹4.48L), Data Science (₹4.48L), ECE (₹3.57L), Electrical Engineering (₹3.48L), Mechanical Engineering (₹3.48L), and Civil Engineering (₹3.48L). In 2024-25, 241 students were placed with a highest package of ₹12 LPA and average of ₹4–4.5 LPA. The median package was ₹3.30 LPA. Historical highest package: ₹22 LPA (Microsoft, CSE alumnus). Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL, Josh Technology, PolicyBazaar, Nagarro, and Bajaj Finserv. Placement eligibility requires no semester backlogs. IEC also runs a unique 'Earn While You Learn' 6-month On-Job-Learning programme with ₹20,000–₹35,000/month stipend.
