Government Medical College, Churu, also known as Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Medical College (PDUMC), was established in 2018 under the Rajasthan Medical Education Society (Raj-MES). Located in the Shekhawat Colony, Churu, Rajasthan, it is affiliated with the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur, and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college is spread over a sprawling 23.69-acre campus housing the main academic block, hostels for students, and residential quarters for faculty and staff. The attached D.B. Hospital, located on Pankha Road about 1 km from the college, is the primary teaching hospital with 300+ beds and provides free treatment to BPL, Bhamashah, and other free-category patients. The college offers 150 MBBS seats, making it a key institution for providing quality and affordable medical education in the northern Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, one of the state's driest and underserved desert belts.

D.B. Hospital, Churu, located on Pankha Road about 1 km from the college, is the main teaching hospital. It is a 300+ bed tertiary care hospital providing free treatment to BPL, Bhamashah, and other government scheme beneficiaries. It includes a central lab, blood bank, CT scan, and post-mortem facility.
Admission is through NEET UG scores. State quota seats (85%) are filled through the Rajasthan NEET UG counselling portal at rajugneet2025.com, conducted by the NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission/Counselling Board, Jaipur. AIQ seats (15%) are filled through MCC NEET UG counselling at mcc.nic.in.
The annual tuition fee for State Quota government seats is approximately Rs. 63,800 per year, making the total 4.5-year fee around Rs. 2.87 lakhs. Management quota fee is approximately Rs. 9.57 lakhs per year. This makes GMC Churu one of the most affordable MBBS colleges in India.
