In recognition of GCS's work, the Government of Gujarat allotted 25 acres of PPP land for GCSMC in 2009. The college was dedicated by PM Narendra Modi in 2011. GCSMC is NAAC A++ accredited, NABH accredited, and ranked #18 by NIRF 2024 — the top-ranked private medical college in Gujarat.
