Official website

Deben Mahata Government Medical College and Hospital (DMGMCH), Purulia, is a government medical college established in 2020 (some sources: 2018) by the Government of West Bengal. Named after Dr. Deben Mahata — a renowned freedom fighter, independence activist, and social reformer from Purulia — the college is located on a 40-acre lush green campus at Hatuara, Purulia – 723101. Affiliated with West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS), Kolkata, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC), DMGMCH offers 100 MBBS seats annually. Placement: 'Placements facility available as they graduate' (Mdmsenquiry). Compulsory rural service bond post-internship ensures healthcare deployment in underserved tribal Purulia.
