The minimum qualification depends on the course. B.Tech needs 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics and at least 45 percent marks, or 40 percent for reserved categories of Madhya Pradesh. MBA and MCA need a graduation degree with at least 50 percent marks, or 45 percent for reserved categories. BBA and BCA need a pass in 10+2 from a recognised board. The courses page lists the eligibility rules and the seats for each programme.
An entrance examination is needed only when it is applicable to the programme. Where an entrance is used, seats are first allotted on the basis of the entrance marks and then on the merit of the qualifying examination. Candidates should check the course page or ask the admission cell which exam applies to their programme in the current year, because the university does not name one exam for all courses.
The documents needed are the entrance admit card and score, if applicable, the mark sheets of the qualifying degree or diploma, Class 12 and Class 10, the domicile certificate of Madhya Pradesh, caste and income certificates where applicable, address proof, an Aadhaar card and five recent passport photographs. At the counselling office the student also submits an anti-ragging affidavit signed by the student and parent, a transfer certificate, a character certificate and a migration certificate.
The admission cell can be reached at 0755-4246498 or 0755-4903330 between 9:30 AM and 5:30 PM from Monday to Saturday. You can also use the admission numbers 9111105431 and 9165025500. Candidates who need financial help should look at the scholarship options before paying the fee.
