AIIMS Rajkot offers MD and MS programs through the INI-CET (Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test) conducted biannually (January and July sessions) by AIIMS New Delhi via aiimsexams.ac.in. Approximately 25–40 PG seats are available per session. Most competitive specialties include MD General Medicine (INI-CET 2025 closing rank: 156) and MD Dermatology & Venereology (168). There is no state quota for PG; all seats via central INI-CET counselling.
Based on NEET 2024 data (MCC Round 1), the General (UR) category closing rank was AIR 1,854 and opening rank was AIR 93. In the final stray vacancy round (Round 4), General closing rank was AIR 5,455. OBC Round 1 closing rank: AIR 3,057. Year-wise General final round trend: 2022 – 7,046; 2023 – 3,259; 2024 – 5,455. AIIMS Rajkot charges ₹5,856 per year as tuition fee for MBBS – one of the lowest in India. The total MBBS tuition for 4.5 years is approximately ₹26,352.
