About BFA
A Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) is a four-year undergraduate program for students who have completed Class 12 in any stream, focused on developing technical skill and creative practice across painting, sculpture, applied art, and design disciplines. It's a studio-intensive degree, with most coursework built around hands-on practice, critiques, and a final degree show.
Admission is driven mainly by each institute's own drawing aptitude test and portfolio review, with CUET UG used as an additional screening step at several central and state universities. The program covers foundational drawing, art history, and studio practice across mediums in the first two years, followed by a chosen specialization with intensive studio work through the final year.
