The exam will be held in computer-based mode across 100+ cities in India. Notably, the Analytical Essay Writing (AEW) component has been removed from the written exam and will now be assessed during the GD/PI stage.

XAT 2027 Registration: How to Apply
Candidates can complete the XAT 2027 registration process entirely online through the official website. The application fee for XAT 2027 has been increased to Rs. 2,300, with an additional Rs. 200 payable for each XLRI programme selected. Follow the steps below to register successfully.

- Sign up using a valid email ID and mobile number to generate login credentials.
- Fill in personal, academic and programme preference details in the application form.
- Upload the required documents, including a scanned photograph and signature.

XAT 2027 Exam Pattern
XAT 2027 will be a 180-minute computer-based test comprising 95 multiple-choice questions divided into two parts. Part 1 covers Decision Making, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, while Part 2 covers General Knowledge. There is no sectional time limit, allowing candidates to move freely between sections. A penalty of 0.10 marks is deducted for every unattempted question beyond eight.
