How to Calculate Your Probable Score

Candidates can estimate their likely CBT 2 score using the marking scheme followed in the exam: one mark for every correct answer, with a deduction of one-third mark for every incorrect answer. The formula works out to Estimated Score equals the number of correct answers multiplied by one, minus the number of incorrect answers multiplied by 0.33. This provisional estimate is useful for gauging performance but is not a substitute for the official result, which will be based on the final answer key.

What Happens After the Objection Window Closes

Once the objection window closes, subject matter experts at RRB will review all valid challenges submitted by candidates. Based on this review, the Board will prepare and release the final answer key, which will then be used to compute the official CBT 2 result. Candidates are advised not to rely on the provisional key for a final assessment of their qualification status and to wait for the official result notice, since some answers may change following the objection review process.

This is a developing update, and candidates should keep checking their respective regional RRB website directly for the latest notices regarding the final answer key and CBT 2 result timeline.
