The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has uploaded four seat matrix PDFs for NEET PG Counselling 2026: the All India Quota (MD/MS), Deemed (MD/MS), Central Internal Quota (MD/MS) and Final DNB matrices. For candidates and parents, these lists show which institutes, courses and categories are open in MCC counselling, so they are the main reference while filling Round 1 choices. These files do not give every state's complete state-quota seat list; state seats are published by the respective state counselling authorities.
Key Highlights
- Four official MCC PDFs are available: AIQ, Deemed, Central Internal Quota and DNB.
- The Central Internal Quota matrix states a total of 707 MD/MS seats across 12 institutes.
- Each PDF carries only the year 2026; no separate issue date is printed in the documents.
- The matrices list institute, quota, branch, category and seat count.
- State-quota seats are not covered; check state counselling authorities.

AIQ, Deemed, Central Internal and DNB Seats Explained
- All India Quota: seats open to candidates from any state through MCC.
- Deemed University: seats at deemed universities, including NRI, minority and self-financed merit seats.
- Central Internal Quota: seats reserved within central institutions and universities such as IP University, Delhi University, BHU and AMU.
- DNB: Diplomate of National Board seats in hospitals accredited by NBEMS.
What This Means for Candidates and Parents
The matrices let candidates see which branches are actually offered at an institute before locking choices. Seat counts are listed by category, so check your own category rows, not only the total. Because the files run to hundreds of pages, search by institute or branch name rather than scrolling.
How to Use the Matrix During Round 1 Choice Filling
- Download all four PDFs from the official MCC PG counselling page.
- Search for your preferred branch and shortlist institutes that offer it.
- Check the quota and category row that applies to you.
- Compare options across AIQ, Deemed, Central Internal and DNB seats.
- Read the information bulletin for admission rules, fees and deposits before locking choices.
Check Before Selecting Colleges
- Course availability at the institute and quota.
- Your category and eligibility for the quota.
- Fees and security deposit for deemed seats.
- Admission and exit rules in the MCC information bulletin.
Pending Information
The grand totals for the All India Quota, Deemed and DNB matrices are not stated in the portions reviewed and are not given here. MCC's PG page, when last viewed, did not display Round 1 dates alongside these matrices, so check the schedule notice on mcc.nic.in.
