MCC's Round 1 final seat allotment result was declared on August 24, 2026, and candidates allotted seats were required to report to their institutes by August 31. Following this, MCC opened a seat resignation window for Freeze and Float candidates who wish to withdraw from their Round 1 seat, running from 2:00 PM on August 31 to 1:00 PM on September 2, 2026. Verification of joined-candidate data by institutes is scheduled for September 1, 2026.

MCC Round 2 Registration from September 3

Round 2 registration opens on September 3, 2026, and candidates can complete registration and fee payment until September 8, 2026, on the official MCC counselling portal, mcc.nic.in.

• Candidates who already registered in Round 1 do not need to register again; they can log in with their existing credentials.
• Fresh candidates who did not participate in Round 1 can register for the first time during Round 2.
• Fee payment must be completed within the registration window to remain eligible for choice filling.

MCC Round 2 Choice Filling and Choice Locking

Choice filling for Round 2 runs from September 3 to September 9, 2026, with choice locking closing on September 9, 2026. Candidates must fill fresh choices for Round 2, as choices submitted in Round 1 are not carried forward automatically.
