Candidates whose category or quota has been changed in the same institution and subject are required to get an online-generated relieving letter and get admitted on the changed category or quota seat from the allotted institution. Failing to obtain a fresh admission letter for the changed category or quota seat will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat due to non-admission.— MCC Official Notice
What Happens After Round 1: Freeze, Float and Upgrade
Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must choose to either 'Freeze' or 'Float' their allotment while reporting. Freezing confirms satisfaction with the current seat and rules out further upgrades, while floating keeps the candidate eligible for a better seat in Round 2 based on their original choice list, subject to seat availability.
