The Directorate of Higher and Technical Education (DHTE), Government of Arunachal Pradesh, has published the Round 2 seat allotment result of the state's Degree (PCB Group) 2026 Counselling, which covers NEET-based admission to MBBS, BDS and several other allied medical, paramedical and agricultural courses. Candidates have to log in to the counselling website, www.apjee.co.in, using their credentials to view their allotted seat and complete the reporting formalities.

Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling Round 2: Latest Update

According to the circular, candidates who wish to accept their Round 2 seat must choose the Freeze option online and then physically report to the concerned directorate to collect their nomination letter by September 8, 2026, up to 4:00 PM. For MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, BRSMS, BASLP, B.Sc (Nursing, MLT, RIT, Optometry, Food Nutrition and Dietetics), Pharmacy and BMRIT courses, reporting has to be done at the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, A Sector, behind Lenskart, Naharlagun. For B.Sc (Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fishery, Community Science, Natural Farming) and B.V.Sc courses, candidates must report to the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, ESS Sector, Itanagar. Candidates who fail to submit their willingness or fail to report by the deadline will have their allotment automatically cancelled, though they remain eligible for the Spot Round that follows.

Who Is Eligible in the Round 2 Seat Allotment

  • Candidates from Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) background, on the basis of merit
  • Children of Non-APST Arunachal Pradesh Government employees, or of All India Services, Central Government and Central Public Sector Undertaking employees serving in the state
  • Other candidates who have resided in Arunachal Pradesh for the last three years or more and passed Class XII from a school within the state, and who appeared for NEET 2026
  • Candidates who registered, uploaded documents, and filled and locked their choices within the notified schedule, and who either did not receive a seat in Round 1 or chose the Floating option after Round 1 allotment

How to Check the Round 2 Seat Allotment Result

  1. Visit the counselling portal, www.apjee.co.in
  2. Log in using your registered email address, mobile number or application number and password
  3. Complete OTP verification to access the student dashboard
  4. View your Round 2 seat allotment status on the dashboard
  5. If accepting the seat, select the Freeze option and download the provisional allotment letter
  6. Pay the security deposit or seat acceptance fee online as applicable

What Happens Next: Spot Round

Candidates whose seat allotment is confirmed and who report within the deadline will receive a nomination letter from the respective directorate and must then join their allotted institute as per its own admission schedule. Those who do not report, or whose allotment is cancelled for non-payment of the security deposit or seat acceptance fee, become eligible to register afresh for the Spot Round. Candidates who have already taken admission at an institute against an allotted seat cannot participate in the Spot Round. Online registration for the Spot Round is scheduled for September 9 and 10, followed by publication of a merit list and the Spot Round itself on September 11, 2026.
