UGNEET-2026 – Admission to Medical and Dental Courses: Second Round Seat Allotment – Provisional Results – Choice-4
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued an important notification regarding UGNEET 2026 Second Round Seat Allotment for admission to Medical and Dental courses. The notification, dated 10 September 2026, provides details about the provisional results, the Choice-4 option and the subsequent revised seat allotment process.
KEA has informed candidates that the Second Round provisional seat allotment results will be published on the KEA website on 11 September 2026 after 2:00 PM. The allotment has been conducted based on the merit of candidates and the options entered by them.
A key provision in the notification is Choice-4. Candidates who have received seats through both MCC and KEA counselling and wish to take admission to the seat allotted to them in MCC Second Round counselling can exit the KEA seat allotment process by selecting Choice-4 through the link provided on the KEA website.
The Choice-4 facility will be available from 3:00 PM on 11 September 2026 until 5:00 PM on 14 September 2026.
After candidates exit the KEA process through Choice-4, KEA will re-run the second-round seat allotment for Medical and Dental courses using the options already submitted by candidates. No changes to existing choices will be permitted. The revised final allotment will subsequently be published, with candidates considered for possible upgradation to higher-order choices depending on seat availability and applicable allotment rules.
