Sikkim Manipal MBBS Admission 2026: Round 2 Counselling & Seat Choice Filling Begins
Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences (SMIMS) has announced the commencement of Round II Counselling for MBBS Admission 2026 from September 9, 2026. Eligible candidates are required to complete the online seat choice-filling process as per the counselling schedule.
The Round 2 eligibility is based on the candidate's NEET All India Rank 2026. Candidates under the General and Northeast categories with a rank up to 4,84,744 are eligible to participate. For the Management category, candidates with NEET AIR up to 11,12,643 can participate in the counselling process.
How to complete seat choice filling?
Candidates need to log in to the SMU admission portal using their registered email ID and password. After logging in, they should verify their NEET rank, category and eligibility details, then navigate to the Counselling Tab. Candidates can view their eligible category, select their preferred category or categories, carefully review their choices and finally submit and lock their preferences. They should also save the confirmation for future records.
SMIMS follows Common Counselling for MBBS, with the counselling process conducted under the overall direction and control of the State Government of Sikkim, Department of Education. Candidates are advised to check the official website regularly for updates, seat matrix and fee structure.
