The University of Delhi has released a public notice regarding admissions to its One-Year Postgraduate (PG) Programmes for the academic session 2026-27. The admission process is open to students who have successfully completed a four-year undergraduate programme under the UGCF 2022 framework from the University of Delhi and wish to pursue a one-year postgraduate degree. Eligible candidates are required to register through the official DU PG admission portal.
The university has divided the registration process into two phases. Phase I, which has been live since July 4, 2026, requires candidates to fill in and verify their personal details. Phase II, which commenced on July 23, 2026, requires applicants to select the courses that will contribute towards the award of a Major in their chosen discipline. Candidates are advised to carefully verify the total number of credits, along with their SGPA and CGPA, to ensure they meet the eligibility requirements for the programme.
Registration Portal
The notification further states that students whose eighth semester results are still awaited will be able to complete Phase II once their results are officially declared. The University has advised all applicants to regularly check the official admission portal for the latest schedules, announcements, and important updates related to the admission process.
