Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2026 First Round Seat Resignation/Withdrawal Date Extended
The Office of the Commissioner, Medical Education, Chhattisgarh has extended the deadline for seat resignation/withdrawal for candidates admitted through the first round of Chhattisgarh NEET UG Counselling 2026 for MBBS and BDS courses.
As per the latest notice dated 10 September 2026, candidates who received admission through the first round of state counselling but now wish to cancel or resign from their allotted seat can use the Seat Resign Portal/Seat Withdrawal Portal. The facility was initially available from 7 September 2026 at 2:30 PM until 10 September 2026 at 12:00 Noon. The deadline has now been extended to 11 September 2026 at 2:00 PM (Server Time).
Candidates who want to resign from their allotted seat are required to be present at their admitted institution and complete the admission cancellation/seat resignation procedure within the revised deadline.
The extension is particularly important for candidates who may have received a preferred seat in another counselling process or who have decided not to continue with their Round 1 Chhattisgarh MBBS/BDS allotment. Candidates should complete the required formalities before the revised deadline to avoid missing the opportunity to resign from their allotted seat.
